Hi,

My name is Jared Folkins and back in September of 2007, I contacted Bendbb saying that I was working on aggregating the Deschutes County D.I.A.L data. The goal was/is to offer the information to the public for educational purposes. I have worked pretty hard to come up with the basic concept but now I need some feedback.

What I am looking for:

* The Subdivisions that people want to see (I have the API and data pretty well setup, now all I need to know is "What areas interest you?")
* People to keep an eye on the original records used for parsing so I can see if I am missing any data
* Features people would like

Things to consider:

* I designed this site for use with Firefox 2.0+. (If you use any other browser the site may not perform as expected)
* I have not optimized the Google Maps yet this means they may be slow and klunky (beware dialup users)
* This is something I am doing in my free time Smile

Well done Jared, it's nice to see someone making the county sales data available in a user-friendly format.

Under "Features people would like" put me down for clickable markers on the Google Map. What I have in mind is the ability to mouseover a marker to see the address and to click on a marker to see its sales history.

Yup these things can be done. I will keep adding to this list and then prioritize the work. Thanks for the feedback!

Also, something easier for me to add at the moment would be other subdivisions. So throw a couple requests out.

How about Park (Addition to Bend), Hillside Park, and Pinelyn Park for those of us tracking some of the older neighborhoods? Awbrey Park would be cool too. Thanks!!!!

Since you have Saddleback in there you might as well add Klippel acres it's just adjacent to SB just larger lots, but it represents one of Bends closest in Westside neighborhoods with lot sizes in the 5 to 10 acre range. And there is a short sale in there now on Buck.
